I was previously a fellow at the London School of Economics Department of International Relations. I received a PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto, with concentrations in international relations and comparative politics, advised by Antoinette Handley, Mark Manger, and Lou Pauly. My research has been funded by the Carnegie Trust and I have worked with NGOs and international organizations such as the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD), Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), International Budget Partnership (IBP), and Collaborative African Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI) on debt management practices and governance in developing countries.
